A child has drowned to death in the Kamutiya pond at Naraha rural municipality-5, Siraha today.
Three-year-old Raj Sharma was the son of Rameshwar Sharma of the same locality. The incident occured while the child was reportedly bathing in the pond.
Locals rescued Raj and rushed him to the nearby health centre, which referred him to a hospital. But he died on the way, Area Police Office, Golbazaar said.
